What is the Intranet?

The Intranet consists of several web applications that allow you to work more effectively on the Tyndale Campus. Logging into the Intranet will allow you to submit HelpDesk requests, request maintenance to be completed in your office or work area, track your overtime as well as your vacation and sick days. You can search for other faculty/staff members contact information, view pictures of faculty/staff and download important forms like the Health claims form. The Intranet is your Tyndale online headquarters.

Intranet Applications

	HelpDesk	HelpDesk will allow you to submit and track requests regarding your Tyndale computer. Submitting a HelpDesk request will put your request in a que giving you proper priority. All requests to the IT department are made through the HelpDesk.
	MRMs	MRMs (Maintenance Request Management System) will allow you to submit and track requests regarding the maintenance of your Tyndale work area. Your request will be put in a que giving you proper priority.
	MyFavorites	MyFavorites is a personal categorized web link management system. Do you do allot of research? Track your favorite web sites in here and never loose them again!
	Downloads	Whether you need a copy of the latest Health Claims form or the form to have a door sign cut --- here is where you get them. Intranet is available from anywhere you have a web connection so you can get these forms while at home or on the road!
	TimeTracker	TimeTracker is Tyndale's official Time tracking software for full time staff. You can use TimeTracker to track your overtime and time owing as well as sick days and vacation time. You can also get full reports on your status of overtime, vacation time and sick leave.
	My Profile	Has your phone extension changed? How about your title? Did you get married and need to change your last name? Well you can do that and more in your profile.
	Photo Directory	Who is that Toby guy anyway's? Trying to remember what someone looks like? Try using the photo directory. We are always getting more pictures in there so check back often
	Student IT Accounts	If you need to find a student's official Tyndale email address this tool is for you! A simple search will give you what you need. e.g. doejohn@student.tyndale.ca
