I write this note to you - the Tyndale alumni family - in the middle of Holy Week. Palm Sunday is behind us and Easter is just ahead.

The children danced up the centre aisle at church last Sunday waving palm branches and singing "Hosanna to the son of David! Blessed is the one who comes in the name of the Lord!" Matthew 21:9

With every May graduation at Tyndale I find myself reflecting on the years since my graduation and ask myself this question best reflected in the writings of philosopher Os Guinness: There is joy, in fulfilling a calling that fits who we are and, like the pillar of cloud and fire, goes ahead of our lives to lead us. The Class of 1961 came to Tyndale in April to celebrate their 50th year graduating from the school. During the chapel service we sang "He Leadeth Me" and the testimonies shared later over fifty years echo the lyrics of the chorus that "By His own hand He leadeth me." A dear friend of mine who spent some time studying at Tyndale in the late 1990's died tragically in March while serving in Zambia. Rob Hall lived life for God in all its fullness. Many have been impacted by his death and one of his students in Zambia wrote his memory of Rob as "Everywhere and willing".
