Tyndale giveaways, 20 free tickets to Promise Keepers & Jobs
November 2011
Tyndale alumni are a dynamic and gifted group of people. We recently celebrated fall graduation with over 110 students joining the alumni family. Half of the graduates received their B.Ed. degree and will take up teaching positions in schools in Ontario, across Canada, and around the world. I received a phone call from Iqaluit last week from a Tyndale graduate who is beginning his first term teaching at a small Middle school. Please pray for Ian and his wife as they experience their first Arctic winter and seek to be Christ's hands and feet in a needy community.
At graduation, I spoke about Christ's presence during a time of "Habar" – Hebrew for a time of "Crossing Over". Do you remember the time when you left Tyndale? You may not have been sure what God had in store for you, but in faith you "crossed over" to begin your journey.
In many ways we are in a time of "Habar" at Tyndale. We are moving out of our old campus to the new campus. We are moving away from the familiar to the new – we are not sure what life will be like, but we know that Christ will be present with us. We welcome you—the Alumni family—to take the journey with us and "cross over" to a new campus, a bright future, and the continued challenge to train young leaders to be Christ's light in Canada and around the world.

Blessings upon you,

Rev. Dr. Rob Patterson

New! TALC Event
Tyndale Alumni are a living and active force. And one of the things they like to do is to get together and eat. So, here is the plan. Four times a year the Alumni are going to get together on campus, share lunch and enjoy a world class speaker. These gatherings will be called T.A.L.C. (Tyndale Alumni Lunch Conversations).
This will give you a chance to do what you do best; talk, eat and learn. The next e-newsletter will tell you about our plans to serve you – including our first Tyndale Alumni Holy Land journey.
