Katharine comes from a diverse background in social justice activism, work in the arts community and coordinator of her church’s nursery. She loves working with people and understands just how unsettling life can be – difficult relationships, dealing with change, anxiety and stress. Katharine’s counselling experiences include: depression, trauma, marriage preparation, couples counselling, self-esteem, communication issues, parenting, self-esteem and body image issues, boundaries, health and spiritual issues. Katharine’s approach is warm and compassionate. She is trained in Focusing, Emotion Focused Therapy and Prepare/ Enrich and also uses Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. Katharine and her husband have two children who keep them busy with their curiosity and various sports activities. Katharine loves to write, read, travel and is an adventurous eater.
