Surveys contemporary perspectives and research findings on bilingualism. Special attention is given to the impact of bilingualism on children's development of language and reasoning skills. Another focus is on the debated costs and benefits of being bilingual. Prerequisites: PSYC 101, 102. Same as LING 416.
