The Christian Horizons Family Retreat is a unique opportunity for families with disability to enjoy a vacation together in a safe, fun and rejuvenating atmosphere. Family Retreat encourages and uplifts families by proving many opportunities for fun and relaxation.
We are currently looking for people to serve as Short Term Missionaries.
Short Term Missionaries are volunteers who assist families with each day's activities, ensuring that family is able to experience everything the retreat has to offer. They work one-on-one with a retreat participant, either with or without disability, throughout the course of the 5 day retreat.
No previous experience is necessary. STMs get training and orientation before families arrive.
Applicants must be 16 years or older
The first week of Family Retreat will be on August 21st – August 26th, 2016
The second week of Family Retreat will be on August 28th – September 2, 2016
