Opportunity Description
8 Month Internship
• Length of Position: 9/5/16 - 04/16/16 (subject to change based on a students exam schedule)
4 Month Internship
• Semester 1: 9/5/16 - 12/18/16
• Semester 2: 01/08/16 - 04/16/16
Hours per week
• 12-20 (subject to change based on the students internship requirements)

• Loves kids and their families
• Creative and fun but has a huge capacity for responsibility
• Is a team-player
• Is strong in recruiting volunteers and team-building
• Flexible in logistics, times, and teams.
It is our vision that the children's ministry program of Life Church will minister to our children and families as well as reach out beyond the walls of the church and into the community to help all children grow in their faith, knowledge and Christian commitment and share the love of Christ with those around them.
Roles & Responsibilities:
• Working alongside our Lead Pastor to ensure the vision of the church and children’s ministry are working together.
• Select curriculum. (trying to follow the theme of the church for that time period) Photocopy and Distribute curriculum to children’s workers well in advance.
• Develop a check in and out system.
• Recruit and Manage Volunteers. Develop and Manage volunteer schedule. Manage children’s volunteers for special events.
• Ensure volunteers have police checks.
• Teach a class each Sunday.
• Help with Children’s Ministry set up each Sunday
• Work on developing a third age group for the future.
