• Helping young people develop the skills, assets and attitudes to reach their full God-given potential.
• Encouraging kids to live connected to the Body of Christ by being an active member of a local congregation.
• Working with a team of like-minded individuals — volunteer leaders, committee members, donors and staff.

Young Life work starts with volunteer leaders building relationships with teenagers through Contact Work. Leaving their ‘comfort zones,’ leaders venture out to create meaningful mentor-style relationships with teens. Young Life communities create spaces called Club where teens are listened to and the Christian faith is shared in simple and understandable terms. We welcome and respect all teenagers.

Additional Information:

• Contact Work — One general and one personal contact time with kids outside of meetings per week. Get to know and be known by as many kids as possible, (as a team our goal is to get to know 10% of the school’s population.)
• Club — Regularly attend and participate in weekly club meetings.
• Camps — Be available for weekend and summer camps.
• Campaigners — No expectation to be involved in Campaigners, but if bible discipleship is your passion leadership is welcomed.
