Tyndale's Bachelor of Education program is a full-time 12 month program. It begins in July, and ends the following June.
During the bookend trimester (4 weeks in July at the beginning of the program and 3 weeks in May), Teacher Candidates will be in university course sessions Monday through Friday. All Tyndale B.Ed courses are conducted on campus and are delivered in a face-to-face format. During the two 13-week trimesters (mid-August to mid-November and January to March), Teacher Candidates will attend university courses three days per week and will observe and participate in a school classroom one day per week (plus a four-day observation in September during the first week of school). When Teacher Candidates are involved in the five-week Practica and Field Placement (mid-November through December, April through early May, and June), they will be in their school assignments from Monday through Friday.
Evening courses are a part of this B.Ed program. For approximately half of the program, you can expect to have evening courses two nights per week. For the other half of the program, you can expect to have an evening course one night per week.
