Tyndale's Bachelor of Education program is a full-time 16 month program. It begins in August and ends in November of the following year.
The program length is four consecutive semesters organized in 16 or 17 week blocks aligned approximately into the following schedule:
Semester 1: August to November
Semester 2: December to March
Semester 3: April to July
Semester 4: August to November
Teacher Candidates will be involved in program-related components (either courses or practicum) at least three days per week.
All Tyndale BEd courses are conducted on the Bayview Campus and are delivered in a face-to-face learning experience.
There are three practicum components that have both an Observation and Participation phase and a Practice Teaching phase. Of the three Practice Teaching phases, one is approximately 15 days long and the other two are approximately 25 days long.
Some courses are scheduled in the evenings (from 5 to 8 p.m.).
