Position Description

Reporting to the Client Care Coordinator, the Campus Services Associate is an integral component of Tyndale’s events management and campus services function. They are responsible for delivering excellent customer service in the coordination of campus services for internal clients (student residents, departments), church groups, and Tyndale’s regular clients. A team player, they will assist in daily office administration to ensure effective procedures and processes.

In this role you will:
• Deliver excellent events management and customer service to Tyndale clients (students, departments, and constituents)
• Accurately manage customer invoicing, follow up on late payments and month end reporting
• Be responsible for day-to-day operation of Campus & Conference Services Office including schedules, records, manuals, polices and procedures
• Oversee basic training on event management software for new employees
• Monitor and respond to events inquiries
• Act as primary liaison with support services and contractors (facilities, custodial etc)
• Assist in emergency situations (fire drills, first aid emergencies, etc.)
• Maintain departmental website and email as necessary

Required Prerequisites

• Undergraduate degree or college diploma
• 2 years of experience in office administration
• Experience in event management, familiarity with event management software
• Strong organizational and administrative skills, attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong communication and inter-personal skills with demonstrated excellence in customer service and problem-solving abilities; a team player
• Proficiency with computer programs and applications (e.g. MS Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Flexibility to work weekends (work week is Tuesday to Saturday)
