Marketing Coordinator

Tyndale University College & Seminary is a multi-denominational, evangelical university college and seminary that prepares leaders for the ministry, marketplace and global mission of the church. Position Description

This position is responsible for the implementation of marketing activities and market analysis. Although work will span institutional needs, the focus of time will be spent on student recruitment and admissions activities. The coordinator will project manage the design and execution of campaigns including collateral material development, advertising, writing, promotion, branding, result tracking and administration. This position will also use efficiently and effectively Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Pay Per Click (PPC) and social media for marketing purposes.

Areas of responsibilities:

Web Based Marketing
• Testing, researching and analyzing web based advertising
• Improving online results through (Google) Pay Per Click advertising, Search Engine Optimization and Google analytics
• Integrating web based marketing with traditional marketing
• Assist in the creation of content (including writing) web advertising

Marketing  - print and radio
• Coordinate print and radio advertising and collateral including creation, media liaison, booking space, proofing and layout
• Manage relationships and projects with external contractors and vendors
• Writing of all genre of marketing collateral, web, advertising and news stories
• Create basic layouts and coordinate desktop publishing and graphic layout (Illustrator, Photoshop, PowerPoint, etc.)

Market Analysis
• Tracking, analyzing and reporting marketing campaign results
• Recommending campaign adjustments and new campaigns to drive results
• Performing market/company research/profiling and analysis
• Conducting market analysis and intelligence on competitors

Other Duties
• Administrative duties related to marketing, assisting with events, etc.
• Other related duties as required

Qualifications:

Required:
• Undergraduate degree or diploma or equivalent experience
• Strong project management skills
• Digital Marketing experience
• Solid writing skills in all genres of marketing
• Team player with the ability to work collaboratively
• Excellent computer skills (Excel, PowerPoint, CRM, Internet)
• Knowledge and experience with Search Engine Optimization, PPC advertising and social media
• Familiarity with and passion for web marketing
• Basic HTML and graphic design skills (HTML, Photoshop, InDesign, etc.)

Preferred:
• 1-2 years related experience in a non-profit and/or educational institution
• Basic graphic design skills (HTML, Photoshop, InDesign, etc.)
• Understanding and knowledge of Tyndale University College & Seminary
