Programs and Projects

With your help, Tyndale has been able to start moving towards numerous new academic projects, including:

 

New Programs

Here are a few of Tyndale’s new programs, made possible by the Uncommon Ground Campaign:

The Bachelor of Education Program
With your contributions Tyndale was able to establish The Bachelor of Education program.

  • 80% of the grads are working in field-related jobs
  • The first cohort started July 2008
  • The fourth cohort started July 2011
     

The Doctor of Ministry
Research projects by students in the Doctor of Ministry program include:

  • A strategy to move a congregation in a missional direction
  • Moving from a mono-ethnic to a multi-ethnic church
  • Designing a support system for second generation congregants
     

BA Business Administration - International Development
Students in the BA Business Administration – International Development program have had co-operative experiences in:

  • India – women’s development center
  • Nicaragua – small business accounting system
  • Bolivia – micro-enterprise project


An Open Learning Centre

The Open Learning Centre was established in 2007. Through your generosity:

  • 721 students have enrolled to date
  • 2/3 of these students reside outside Southern Ontario
  • 338 Faculty and learners from 5 countries and 6 provinces are engaged in open learning
