The program involves intense exposure and transformative service opportunities. In this environment students are encouraged to explore their faith and life calling. Additional features include urban exposure events to Toronto"s ethnic neighbourhoods and a service trip to Camden, NJ. An optional mission trip may be available, serving cross-culturally with other Tyndale students. Every third year, this trip could be to Urbana.

The Leading Edge is a one-year program that prepares students to enter directly into the second year of a BA or BRE program with a full year"s credit. It is designed for recent high school graduates who want to experience their first year of university in a supportive cohort. Students take courses in a variety of disciplines and do not have to declare their desired major until the end of the program.
