Ebrary e-books are digital full-text versions of books such as reference works, scholarly monographs and literature. The Tyndale Community has access to thousands of e-books in every subject area of the curriculum. If you wish to print, take notes or highlight e-books you will need to download the Ebrary reader that is available within the program.

 

Netlibrary

NetLibrary e-books are digital full-text versions of books such as reference works, scholarly monographs, literature and fiction. The Tyndale community has has access to hundreds of e-books covering a wide range of subjects. Downloadable audiobooks are also available in this collection. Requires initial setup on the Tyndale network.

Gale Virtual Reference Library

The Library has subscribed to over 50 encyclopedias and other resources in this e-Reference collection. Titles cover Psychology, History, Sociology, Counseling, Religion, Literature, Business and Education. Available to the Tyndale community.

 

PsycBOOKS

PsycBOOKS, from the American Psychological Association (APA), is a database of more than 18,000 chapters in PDF from over 1,400 books published by APA and other distinguished publishers. It also includes more than 700 classic books of landmark historical impact in psychology dating from 1806, and the exclusive electronic release of more than 1,500 authored entries from APA/Oxford University Press Encyclopedia of Psychology.


The Open Library

A growing archive of digitized books and other materials from academic libraries in the United States and Canada. Includes advanced search and display features. A great amount of material here is in the public domain. Free to use, you just have to register.

Contains over 19,000 out of print ebooks. This is a free resource. Use it anywhere.
