Using MyTyndale WebFiles

What is a MyTyndale WebFiles account?

MyTyndale WebFiles is your own virtual space on the Tyndale’s network where you can store, save, and retrieve documents on any computer with internet connection.

How to log in to your MyTyndale WebFiles account

  • Navigate to www.mytyndale.ca/webfiles
  • Enter your MyTyndale username and password (your username is the first 11 characters of your first name, followed by your last name; and your password is your Tyndale student number)
  • Click “OK”

Uploading a file into your MyTyndale WebFiles account

  • Using the drop-down menu, click on the arrow and highlight “New file (upload)”
  • Click “OK” and then select “Browse”
  • Using the pop-up menu, locate and select the file that you would like to upload into your MyTyndale Webfiles account
  • Click “Open” and then select “OK”

To upload a file into a specific folder (see next section on creating folders), open the folder by simply double-clicking on it before proceeding with the four steps illustrated above.

Creating a new folder in your MyTyndale WebFile

  • Using the drop-down menu, click on the arrow and highlight “New folder”
  • Click “OK”
  • Enter the name of the new folder beside the “OK” button (i.e. Homework)
  • Click “OK” once again

How to delete a folder and/or file from your MyTyndale WebFile

  • Click on the box beside the folder(s) and/or file(s) that you want to delete
  • Using the drop-down menu, click on the arrow and highlight “Delete selected items”
  • Click “OK”
