Below is a list of databases. Some databases are only available on terminals connected to the Tyndale computer network, including the Computer Lab. Remote access to the electronic databases provided by these services is available (remote access help).
Oxford Reference Online brings together language and subject reference works from one of the world's biggest and most trusted reference publishers into a single cross-searchable resource.The Premium Collection offers a huge range of fully-indexed, extensively linked, up to date, and cross-searchable dictionary, language reference, and subject reference works published by Oxford University Press, including detailed information across a broad subject range from titles in the world-renowned Oxford Companions series.
The Philosopher's Index provides indexing and abstracts from books and journals of philosophy and related fields published from 1940 to present.
Contains over 19,000 out of print ebooks. This is a free resource. Use it anywhere.
Proquest Ebook Central has digital full-text versions of books such as reference works, scholarly monographs and literature. The Tyndale Community has access to tens of thousands of e-books in every subject area of the curriculum. If you wish to print, take notes or highlight e-books you can do this easily in Ebook Central.
DOWNLOADS are available for up to 14 days on many titles if you wish to save an ebook to your personal computer or tablet. You will need to use Adobe Digital Editions, which is a free download in order to download ebooks from Proquest.
The Proquest Religion Database provides full text online access to articles from over 90 of the most important religious and theological journals. Many titles have been indexed for more than ten years.
Access journals, textbooks and DSM publications from the American Association of Psychiatry.
Streaming videos covering family therapy, legal/ethical issues for mental health professions, and a wide range of modalities, theoretical approaches, and populations. As of May 2021 Tyndale has access to 104 streamed videos.

PsycINFO contains more than 2 million citations and summaries of journal articles, book chapters, books, dissertations and technical reports, all in the field of psychology. Journal coverage, which dates back to the 1800s links to full text in PsycArticles.
Religious and Theological Abstracts includes abstracts from over 360 journals. There are no subject headings in this database, but words in the abstracts may be searched and combined with other terms. There is access also by Bible citation. There are no direct links to full text articles.
RIM® Online is a freely available database that indexes DMin and DMiss projects from reporting schools of theology accredited by the Association of Theological Schools in the United States and Canada. Indexing began in 1981.
Sage Journals Online covers over 500 full text peer reviewed Journals in all subject areas. Full text access goes back to 1999 for most titles.
Science Direct: Social and Behavioral Sciences includes top academic journals in Business, Economics, Education, Linguistics, Psychology, Sociology and other social sciences.Some books are also available in this database
