Dr. Ian Gentles

Professor of History

Along with co-authors Dr. Angela Lanfranchi and Dr. Elizabeth-Ring Cassidy, Dr. Gentles wrote the book "Complications: Abortion’s Impact on Women" (2013). Published by the DeVeber Institute for Bioethics and Social Research, where Dr. Gentles serves as the Research Director, the book details the negative impact abortion has on women across the world. In a National Post column, which featured the book, Barbara Kay states that it “effectively busts several abortion ‘myths’.”
