Dr. Dennis Ngien Appointed Editor of Paternoster Press

Dr. Dennis Ngien, Professor of Systematic Theology and Director of ThM degree program at Tyndale Seminary, has been appointed as an editor of Paternoster Press, a highly-esteemed academic press of 75 years of international recognition. Dr. Ngien serves as peer-blind reviewer and editor of Paternoster academic series, Studies in Christian History and Thought, one of the most prestigious scholarly series. The editorial board of this series comprises leading scholars in their fields including David Bebbington, Alan Sell, and Gerald Bray. Over the past years, notable scholars such as F. F. Bruce, Howard Marshall, Murray Harris, Clark Pinnock, Stephen Holmes, Oliver Crisp, J. I. Packer, and Timothy Larsen, have published their works with Paternoster.

Dr. Ngien has published three books with Paternoster: Apologetic for Filioque in Medieval Theology (2005), Luther as a Spiritual Adviser (2007), and Gifted Response: The Triune God as the Causative Agency of our Responsive Worship (2008). He recently signed a contract with Paternoster on his new book entitled Christ the Key to Charles Spurgeon's Sermons. Dr. Ngien’s sixth book, a collection of sermons called Giving Wings to the Soul, is set to be published January 2011 by Wipf & Stock.
