Enrolment growth (again!) at the Seminary

Wednesday, October 5, 2016

Seminary enrolment continues to break records with 842 students enrolled, representing a 7.5% increase from last year. Tyndale Seminary has been on the leading edge in Canadian graduate-level theological education, providing flexible study options that make it possible for students to balance their busy lives with their studies. More and more students are taking advantage of courses in delivery formats including online, live streaming and one-week intensives.

Caleb Courtney [MTS – Pentecostal Studies] felt called to seminary and found a way to further his studies while continuing to prioritize his wife, four children and ministry responsibilities. He recently completed the full program in just one calendar year, less than the two full-time years it normally takes. He took summer courses as well as an online course and one-week intensives. Tyndale seminary offers many creative full-time and part-time options.

Students are continuing to answer the call to study at seminary and be equipped to face today’s rapidly changing world. Many graduates go on to serve in church ministry, while others are heading back to the workplace as business leaders, teachers, medical professionals and more. Whatever their profession, they see their work as mission and are bringing the light of Christ into their workplaces.
