Tyndale Experiences Unprecedented Enrollment
TORONTO – Tyndale University College & Seminary has had a 10.7% growth in the number of students attending the school in fall 2010. This semester, there are an unprecedented 1,280 students with an average class size of 29, making it largest student base in the history of Tyndale.
The largest increase is found in Tyndale’s existing programs. Since 2007, the BA Business Administration has grown by 50% and the BA Psychology has grown by 35%, while the certificate and graduate diploma programs grew by 22% and the BA Religious Studies by 27%. Tyndale has also launched three new programs in the last 2 years: a Doctor of Ministry, a Bachelor of Education, and a new BA in Linguistics.
Tyndale is an evangelical trans-denominational university college and seminary that prepares leaders for the ministry, marketplace and global mission of the Church. Tyndale offers fully accredited programs in a wide range of disciplines at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. Undergraduate students may study towards a BEd, BA, and BRE degree or a certificate in Christian studies. Graduate-level education includes a doctor of ministry degree; master's degrees in divinity, theological studies or theology; and a graduate diploma in either Christian studies, missions or spiritual formation. Currently, there are 1,280 students and 9,000 alumni. Founded in 1894, Tyndale is strategically positioned in Toronto.
