Upon the recommendation of the President and faculty of Tyndale Seminary, the Board of Governors has approved the appointment of Dr. Michael Krause as the new Director of the Internship Program and Assistant Professor of Christian Ministry. Dr. Krause will begin his new role on August 1, 2014.

“Dr. Krause brings creative pastoral and church-planting experience to the position. He is a proven leader, passionate about mentoring, and is exceptionally well-connected across GTA churches and church-related agencies,” says Dr. Arnold Neufeldt-Fast, Associate Academic Dean of Tyndale Seminary. “Dr. Krause is positioned to contribute immediately to an already strong Seminary Internship Program.”

Dr. Krause is a graduate of Tyndale’s Master of Divinity program [MDiv 1985], and completed his Doctor of Ministry (DMin) at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. He has over 25 years of experience serving in multiple leadership capacities. He has a dynamic portfolio of Christian ministry experience that includes teaching at Tyndale’s Intercultural Ministries (TIM) Centre as an adjunct professor, urban mission involvement, church ministry expertise and Christian non-profit sector leadership.

In his new full-time faculty position, Dr. Krause will be providing pedagogical, operational and strategic oversight of the Tyndale Seminary Internship Program as well as teaching selected courses in his area of expertise. He will mentor nearly 50 ministry interns each year.

“It’s exciting to be back at Tyndale as a professor during this time of growth and change,” says Dr. Krause. “I want to thank the search committee for their guidance through the process and for their discernment. I’m looking forward to the opportunity of working with this generation of students that will so significantly impact the landscape of ministry in Canada.”

Please join the Tyndale community in congratulating Dr. Krause on his appointment.
