Current Course: Missiology

The Tyndale Open Learning Centre is offering a certificate program, Theology for the Korean Church, a non-credited series for those interested in studying the Word of God in the Korean language.

Each course costs $300. You will receive a certificate upon completion of nine courses. Each course will be held over 8 evenings in 3 hour sessions from 6:00pm - 9:00pm (total of 24 hours per course).

The era of world missions is changing: an accurate understanding of mission work and training are necessary. Missiology will cover topics that will equip the lay missionary for world missions.

Instructor: Rev. Seong Chul Kang

The instructor for Missiology is Rev. Seong Chul Kang (BA, MDiv, MA) who has been a dedicated missionary to Sao Paulo, Brazil. He has taught theological courses at the Theological Seminary in South Korean and Brazil. His major is in Pastoral Counseling and has many experiences both in individual and group settings. Currently, he serves as senior pastor of Our Presbyterian Church in Mississauga.

Program Coordinator: Deborah Kim

The program coordinator is Deborah Kim, who graduated from Tyndale Seminary (MDiv). Her mission is to equip the Korean Christian Community with Missional Theology Courses to better serve and live in the local church and mission fields as God's people who have been given the Great Commission.
