For people who have an interest in Christian Education & Formation, the first question I ask them is "Do you have a passion to see people grow in their faith?" That to me is the most important thing.
Do you have that passion to explain the scriptures to people in a way that they can understand so they can make meaning of their life and their faith? If they have a passion, a desire to see the church mature and to see people grow in their faith, that is the most important criteria to come into the program.

A love for helping people to grow, a love for people, a love for the church: to see the church impact and fulfill its mission in society, that really is the most important thing.
