Request to take a course before the necessary prerequisites have been taken Course instructors in the Counselling Major give great thought and care to the course prerequisites and do not readily make exceptions. However we do recognize that under unusual circumstances a request to take a course without the required prerequisite will be considered as long as it does not put the student or the rest of the class at a disadvantage. This form is used to request an exception.
