Internship
As a requirement for graduation for both the Clinical and Pastoral tracks, Tyndale's counselling students choose an internship site from a variety of placement opportunities. It is our goal that students have choice from a wide range of experiences that prepare them for their work after graduation. Students from both tracks will need to obtain a minimum of 150 hours of face-to-face clinical experience with clients under adequate supervision.
Internship can include the following:
- Mental Health Agencies
- University Counselling Centres
- CAPPE Program Clinics
- Hospitals
- Detention Centres
- Urban Missions (homeless and youth centres)
- Christian Private Practices
- Church Counselling Centres
