The Second Annual Wesley Studies Symposium was held at Tyndale Seminary on March 23, 2010. (See Schedule, below). The first Symposium was an informal gathering held at Tyndale Seminary on March 3, 2009.

The following six papers were presented at the 2010 Symposium:

Amy Caswell: “The Story of Christian Perfection"

Chad Short: “John Wesley and N. T. Wright in Dialogue”

Bob Munshaw: ‘Be Thorough, But Be in Haste’

Howard Olver: “A Theology for Reaching the City”

James Watson: “Social Science Methodology for Multiethnic Church Planting

Matt McEwen: “Wesley and the Environment: A Sacramental View”

The Third Annual Wesley Studies Symposium is scheduled for Tuesday, March 15, 2011, at Tyndale Seminary. No overall theme has been set, but the goal is to foster Wesley Studies in Canada and to build a community of people who are studying Wesleyan theology and seeking to apply it for mission and ministry in Canada and globally.
Proposals for the 2011 Symposium are welcome.
