Master of Theological Studies

Master of Theological Studies

The Master of Theological Studies (MTS) is a foundational program in biblical and theological studies. It seeks to develop theological understanding for general educational purposes by stressing biblical and theological studies within a rigorous program of academic study.

In addition to the sequence of required courses, MTS students may opt to use their eight elective courses to focus their studies in their chosen area of interest: Biblical Languages, Biblical Studies, Church History, Counselling, Christian Education and Formation, Global Mission and Intercultural Studies, Pastoral and Chinese Ministry, Pentecostal Studies, Spiritual Formation, Theological Studies or Youth and Family Ministry. The MTS Degree program may also be taken during the evenings in a modular, cohort-based format with a fixed sequence of courses delivered over three years.
