Areas of Specialization: New Testament, Narrative Criticism, Pentecostal Theology

Dr. Mittelstadt is Professor of Biblical Studies at Evangel University in Springfield, Missouri (2000). His publications on Luke-Acts include Reading Luke-Acts in the Pentecostal Tradition (Cleveland, TN: CPT Press, 2010) and Spirit and Suffering in Luke-Acts: Implications for a Pentecostal Pneumatology (London: T & T Clark, 2004). He was recently elected to the Executive Committee of the Society for Pentecostal Studies, and will serve as President in 2020.

Dr. Mittelstadt will be teaching a course on Acts of the Apostles in the Summer 2018 term.
