Supervision of CSD Candidates
Members of the TASD may qualify to become a Supervisor for Certified Spiritual Director candidates. The following is required:

A minimum of two (2) years of CSD registration by the Canadian Council of Professional Certification.

Each candidate will supervise six (6) Spiritual Direction practicum students for a total of thirty-six (36) hours for a period of one (1) academic year.

Each candidate will be required to teach one (1) Spiritual Direction practicum class on a selected topic during one academic year.

Each candidate will meet for Group Supervision with their supervisor for a total of thirty-six (36) hours for a period of one (1) academic year.

Each candidate will complete the approved Supervision coursework, namely two (2) one-day supervision seminars. One seminar will be held in the fall semester and the other will be held in the winter semester.

Apply to the Canadian Council of Professional Certification for approval status.
- Upon completion of all work and granting of approval, the candidate will receive the designation CSDS: Certified Spiritual Direction Supervisor.
