Marc Gauvreau

Marc Gauvreau

B.Th. (E.P.B.C); M.Div. (Tyndale), CSD (cand) (Tyndale)

Marc has been an ordained minister with the Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada since 1993 and has served in several churches in the greater Mississauga area as a Discipleship/Spiritual Formation Pastor, Small Group Director, Children’s Pastor and Young Adults Pastor.

His extensive pastoral ministry has helped him develop a keen sensitivity to the Holy Spirit’s ministry throughout an individual’s spiritual journey. With a passion to see Christ formed in His people (Gal.4: 19) so they become fully mature in Christ (Col.1: 28), he pursued training as a spiritual director. He has been offering spiritual direction since 2011 in both individual and corporate settings; in person or via Face Time and Skype.

A natural listener and contemplative soul, Marc offers a compassionate and humorously candid environment. During meeting times, God’s ever-present help is reaffirmed, His grace relied upon and His guidance sought. The biblical text, which best informs his practice is that of the Emmaus road narrative (Lk.24: 13-45) where it is Jesus who stands amidst two disciples directing their conversation towards comprehension, clarity and ultimately a renewed sense of purpose and mission.

Marc is an avid bass player, handyman and coffee connoisseur. He and his wife Karen have the privilege of parenting 4 boys who keep them grounded as they discover God’s Abba heart.
