Join the Tyndale Band!

The new Tyndale Band is an auditioned course for credit and a campus ministry group for Tyndale's gifted student instrumentalists and vocalists. Those selected for the band will play/sing for a number of Chapel services, campus events and external ministry opportunities during the academic year. The Band will meet regularly for rehearsals and instruction during the scheduled class time (see course schedule webpage: www.tyndale.ca/registrar/course-offerings).

*Submit a Preliminary Video Audition! – Email band director, Prof. Ken Michell, at kmichell@tyndale.ca to inquire about Video Audition guidelines. A video audition of yourself playing/singing must be submitted in order to be considered for the band. Once submitted, video auditions will be reviewed and successful candidates will be contacted for a live audition.  

Join the Tyndale Singers!

Tyndale University's small vocal ensemble, the Tyndale Singers, is an auditioned course for credit open to ALL Tyndale students gifted in vocal music. Those selected for the ensemble will minister at various Chapel services, on-campus and external events throughout the academic year, and will meet regularly for rehearsals during the scheduled class time  (see course schedule webpage: www.tyndale.ca/registrar/course-offerings).

Become a Tyndale Worship Intern!

The new Worship Internship program is a training program for aspiring and promising Worship Music Leaders wishing to refine their gifts in worship leadership. Interns will gain valuable experience as they learn worship practices and disciplines from a number of Toronto's prominent worship leaders. Worship Interns will have the opportunity to lead at a number of chapel services, campus events and external ministry opportunities.

Students selected for the Worship Internship program for the academic year:

  • Must be enrolled in the Workshop in Worship Music Leadership course in the Fall semester and the Worship Music Internship in the Winter semester. (see course schedule webpage: www.tyndale.ca/registrar/course-offerings).
  • Must be able to attend conferences, workshops and participate in on and off-campus ministry opportunities

Students not selected for the Internship program but wishing to refine their worship leadership skills should consider enrolling in the Workshop in Worship Music Leadership course.
