The Tyndale Libraries

The Tyndale Libraries have over 155,000 items in their collections. The main circulating collection of the Tyndale Libraries is located in the J. William Horsey Library. The Tyndale Libraries subscribe to over 500 periodicals in print and maintains an extensive collection of back issues.

Counselling Services

The Tyndale Counselling Services team of professional Christian counsellors and interns is available throughout the spring and summer months and the prices for Tyndale students are very affordable. If you would like to speak with a counsellor about relational, behavioural or emotional issues, contact the Counselling Services Coordinator at counselling@tyndale.ca or look online at www.tyndale.ca/counselling for more information. 

Bookstore

The Bookstore is located on level 300. The bookstore serves the need of students, faculty, staff, and alumni of Tyndale University College & Seminary and the public. The store provides resources for those involved in education, church leadership, and para-church organizations. Textbooks, fiction and non-fiction Christian books, stationery, music, and gifts are also available.

Spiritual Direction

The Tyndale Spiritual Formation Centre is open. Please contact your spiritual director for appointments and directions.

Information Technology Services

IT office is located in Room E412 (Office hours are 8am – 5pm Monday to Friday). Please contact IT in person, email tyndaleit@tyndale.ca or call I.T. (ext. 4357) if encounter any problems with printers, internet connections, and classroom A/V equipment. Instructions on connecting to Wi-Fi can be found here.

Student Services Centre (Student Financial Services and Registrar)

Student Financial Services and the Registrar’s Office are open for regular business hours.

Food Services

When looking for a light snack or some Starbucks coffee to get you through that study session, the Cafeteria provides hot drinks, snacks, and refreshments along with soups and sandwiches. The Cafeteria will be open during weekdays throughout the summer. The Lamp Post Cafe will be closed during the summer.

HOURS: Mon - Thurs (7:30am to 5:30pm); Fri (7:30am to 3:00pm); Sat & Sun (closed).

Computer Labs and Printing/Photocopying

Photocopiers/Printers are located in the libraries and in the computer lab by the Study Centre. The copiers are operated by a cash card system using your student ID card. To load money on your card, visit the Campus Services office during business hours or Reception after business hours.

Centre for Academic Excellence

Visit the Centre for Academic Excellence for writing support and appointments.

Accommodations

Whether you are taking a night class, a one week course or just want time away to reflect - come and stay in Tyndale’s residence while you learn. Guestrooms are dormitory style. Special rates apply for Tyndale students and alumni.

A limited number of suites are available at a higher price for double occupancy or more (no Student/Alumni Discount does not apply).

For reservations booked for 3 nights or longer, a 25% non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking. All guestrooms and suites include towels, linens and some hygiene products.
