Globalization and the Church: Missional Theology in a Postmodern Culture [MISS 0586 / THEO 0668]
Course Description
Globalization is one of the main features of our contemporary post-modern culture. Provides a comprehensive Biblical and missiological study of the life and ministry of the global church in the twenty-first century. The missional nature of the church will be explored from a Trinitarian perspective. The church's ministry and responsibility towards other cultures, injustice, poverty, urbanization, and ecology will be explored and studied from a global perspective. Special emphasis will be given to the mission of the people of God as an instrument for peace and reconciliation among world communities and nations.
