Alan Anderson, Vice President; National Director for University Ministry for Inter-Varsity Christian Fellowship in Canada, graduated from Stanford University in 1980 with a B.S. in Biochemistry, received an MBA at the
University of Washington in 1984, and a Master's of Divinity degree from Fuller Theological Seminary in 1999. He finished his D.Min in leadership from Gordon-Conwell Seminary in 2007. Alan joined InterVarsity in the summer of 1984 as a full-time campus staff worker at the University of Washington. During his time at that campus, the chapter grew

Dr. Keith Bodner [PhD, University of Aberdeen] is Professor of Religious Studies at Crandall University (formerly Atlantic Baptist University), with a concentration in Hebrew Language and Old Testament.
Paul Burford’s career as a Writer/Producer/Director spans over 30 years in film and television. He has Produced 400 hours of network TV programming, 90 television commercials and 200 corporate video projects. During this time Paul’s work has been recognized with several international awards.
Originally a graduate of York University’s honours film program, Paul’s teaching background includes 3 years at Sheridan College in Oakville, where he helped develop a post graduate program in Advanced Television and Film.
Bruxy Cavey is the Teaching Pastor of The Meeting House - a church for people who aren't into church. This multi-site community in the Greater Toronto area shares the same teaching and vision: to create safe places for spiritual seekers to ask questions and develop thoughtful faith. Bruxy's accessible style, historical rigor, and refreshing candor make him a popular guest on television and radio programs and at universities across Canada. He is the author of The End of Religion: Encountering the Subversive Spirituality of Jesus
Dr. Blaine Charette was educated in Canada (University of Calgary), the United States (Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary), and England (University of Sheffield). He holds a Ph.D. in Biblical Studies from the University of Sheffield. Dr. Charette has taught Biblical Studies for about twenty-five years at Colleges, Universities, and Seminaries in Canada and the United States. He has also served as a visiting lecturer at various educational institutions in Europe and Asia.
Peter brings together a unique combination of private, public and NGO experience with research and academic success. He served as president of an international corporation and as vice president of three different organizations, including one major hospital. He is a successful entrepreneur and currently leads a boutique consulting group specializing in strategic change and leadership development in the health sector. His international experience includes work and consulting in the U.S., Australia, New Zealand, Egypt, England and Central Asia.
Ajith Fernando is an internationally recognized Christian leader, teacher and Bible expositor. He has been the National Director of Youth for Christ in Sri Lanka since 1976. He is a visiting scholar at Tyndale Seminary and a visiting lecturer at Colombo Theological Seminary, Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, and several other theological seminaries in Asia-Pacific and North America.
Paul Heintzman, an Associate Professor of Leisure Studies at the University of Ottawa, has held a variety of positions in the recreation field. His master’s thesis (Regent College) was titled “A Christian Perspective on the Philosophy of Leisure” while his PhD thesis (Waterloo) was a social scientific exploration of leisure and spiritual well being. He is co-editor of the book Christianity and Leisure: Issues in a Pluralistic Society and author of numerous journal papers and book chapters on leisure and spirituality.
