Accessible Campus

The Council of Ontario Universities consisting of 20 publicly and federally funded universities developed an online resource to provide the latest information about accessibility and AODA (Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005, S.O. 2005, c. 11) standards relating to post-secondary education.

Centre for Equitable Library Access

Provides all public libraries in Ontario with access to alternative books formats for patrons with print disabilities. Register with your local library in order to gain access to this resource.

DO-IT (Disabilities, Opportunities, Internetworking, and Technology) Center

The University of Washington provides resources and supports to promote awareness and accessibility for people with disabilities from the classroom to the workplace.

Academic Accommodations for Students with Mental Health Disabilities

The Ontario Ministry of Advanced Education and Skills Development partnered with Universities and Colleges to develop a series of videos as part of the Mental Health Innovation Fund. These videos provide best-practices to accommodating students with mental health disabilities.

Please note: the videos are only to be used as a learning resource for understanding the accommodation process for students with mental health disabilities. Practices and procedures outlined in the videos may vary from those at Tyndale University.
