Tyndale Class of 2003
On October 26, 2011, Daniel Ting Yiu Sun went to rest in the Lord at Key West, Florida after a snorkeling accident. He was on a scheduled vacation in Miami before heading for a missions conference in Suriname in northern South America.
Daniel Ting served as Pastor of Halifax Chinese Alliance Church after graduating from Tyndale in 2002 until September 30th, 2011. His plan was to come back to Hong Kong for future ministry.
For Tyndale alumni who remember Daniel, there will be three memorial services:
HONG KONG
Chinese Methodist Church, 08 November 2011 (Tuesday) at 7:30 - 8:30 p.m. Friends in Hong Kong may gather here to remember our dearly beloved brother in Christ and servant of the Lord. His friends from Tyndale and alumni of University of Western Ontario are invited to attend.
TORONTO
Saturday November 12th, 9:30 a.m. at Cornerstone Chinese Alliance Church in Markham. Please see details on Facebook. Type: "Memorial Service for Pastor Daniel Ting". Daniel served here during his seminary studies as an intern.
HALIFAX
Saturday November 26th, 2:30 p.m. at Halifax Chinese Alliance Church. They meet at West End Baptist Church in downtown Halifax. Please see Facebook for more details.
Because of the hope we have in Christ Jesus' death and Resurrection, we KNOW we will see Daniel again in glory. Be comforted!
