Equips students with the tools they will need to achieve academic success in a university setting. Students will gain a better understanding of their individual learning styles, learn to apply various reading, memorization and note-taking strategies, increase their proficiency in composition skills, learn to evaluate and research sources critically, write academic papers using existing material from other classes and learn to present information effectively in a classroom setting. Students will learn various techniques to better cope in the university environment. Topics include how to deal with stress, time management, prioritizing and academic planning.
