Overview
We all know that “prayer” is something that marks God’s people, but the “how” and “why” of prayer are sometimes difficult to grasp and even harder to sustain in a meaningful and life-giving way. But prayer is our crucial connection-point with the living God, and to grow in godliness by necessity requires us to grow in prayer.
This module will explore numerous different forms of prayer from various Christian traditions and from the history of the Church, and will engage in theological reflection upon the purpose, the practice, and the power of prayer in the life of the Christ-follower.
