The Tyndale Awards website hosts applications for all of Tyndale's financial aid programs, including the bursaries featured below. Head over to the Tyndale Awards website and see what you may be eligible for.
A bursary is a monetary gift awarded on the basis of financial need. Tyndale University College and Seminary has a number of bursaries available to full-time students (minimum 9 credit hours per semester for the Seminary and 12 credit hours per semester for the University College, not including correspondence courses). Bursaries are available to new or returning full-time students with a minimum CGPA of 2.0. To apply for bursaries, head over to the Tyndale Awards website and complete the Application for Tyndale Financial Aid. The Application for Tyndale Financial Aid is a 10-minute, all-in-one application, with a fast approval process.
The bursary will become a loan that must be repaid if a bursary recipient does not meet the following conditions: Student must complete the academic term(s) and not be dismissed for disciplinary reason. An academic term is considered to be complete when all the required work is submitted, including the writing of the final examination.
Special Bursaries (based on student's status)
Spousal Bursary – For a husband and wife who are both enrolled at Tyndale at the same time. Seminary students are eligible to receive up to $725 per academic year. University College students are eligible to receive up to $925 per academic year.
Family Bursary – For family members (parent/child or siblings) from the same household who are enrolled at Tyndale at the same time. Seminary students are eligible to receive up to $600 per academic year. University College students are eligible to receive up to $800 per academic year.
Senior Bursary (over 60 years of age) – Tyndale students over 60 years of age are eligible to receive up to $900 per academic year.
Tyndale Bursary for Partnering Organizations - Full-time staff members of any of the following partnering organizations are eligible for a bursary:
- Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI)
- Inter-Varsity Christian Fellowship (IVCF)
- the Navigators
- Power to Change (P2C)
- Youth for Christ/Youth Unlimited (YFC)
Up to $900 per academic year for members of ACSI. 25% off the tuition fee for members of IVCF, Navigators, P2C, or YFC. A supporting document confirming employment is required.
