E-Waste Acceptable Items

What can be dropped off

In order to drop off large items you must first set up an appointment with our Facilities staff. To schedule a drop off time, just send an email to ewaste [at] tyndale [dot] ca (subject: Request%3A%20Large%20item%20drop%20off) including a preferred drop off time within the timeframes listed below. We will make our best effort to accommodate your preferred time, however, we reserve the right to select an alternate time if necessary.

Drop off times for large items will be scheduled between 10:00AM - 11:00AM and 1:00PM - 2:00PM Monday - Thursday.

The following is a list that includes, but is not limited to, the large items that are typically accepted into the E-Waste recycling program:

  • Microwaves

All other items listed below can be deposited in any of the E-Waste drop-off locations around Campus.***

***Please note that at this time we are unable to accept the following hazardous waste items: Paint, chemicals(household/industrial), florescent lights, or other hazardous waste deemed too volatile for the Tyndale E-Waste disposal program.

The list of acceptable items is subject to change at any time at the discretion of the Tyndale Campus Facilities or Information Technology Department.
