Dr. Reynolds looks at the book of Colossians (chapters 1-3) and outlines the importance of matching our knowledge of what needs to be done with our actions. That we need to "live our lives, rooted and built in Christ" Colossians 2:7.
Dr. Reynolds is the author of The Apocalyptic Son of Man in the Gospel of John (WUNT II/249; Mohr Siebeck, 2008) and has published articles in Biblica, Early Christianity, Henoch, Journal for the Study of the Historical Jesus, and Neotestamentica. He is currently co-editing a book entitled The Relationship of Biblical and Systematic Theology in the New Testament to be published by Mohr Siebeck, and he is also working on a book length project comparing the Gospel of John and Jewish apocalypses. From 2007–2009, he was Honorary Research Fellow at the University of Aberdeen.
