Convocation

Convocation Ceremony

Tyndale Seminary has a formal convocation ceremony that takes place in May of every year. Details regarding location, specific times and number of guests are sent to graduating students several weeks before their convocation ceremony.

The dates can be found in the Academic Calendar or the Important Dates section.

Convocation Chapel

The Convocation Chapel is the last community chapel of the academic year dedicated to our graduating students.  It often takes place at the Tyndale Chapel in April before classes end.

The dates can be found in the Academic Calendar or the Important Dates section.

Fall Paper Convocation

The Office of the Registrar holds a "paper convocation" for students who are hoping to graduate in the fall.  Students who apply and are eligible to graduate in the fall will receive their degree from the Office of the Registrar.  The conferral date printed on the degree and on their transcripts will be November of each year.  Graduates can pick up their diploma from our office after their conferral date.

All Tyndale Seminary students who graduate in November have the option of joining the formal convocation ceremony in May of the following year.  They can also attend the Convocation Chapel in April.  Students have the option to RSVP to both events in their fall graduation application.
