It is with great joy that on May 11, 2019, Tyndale celebrated this year’s seminary graduates alongside family and friends. Each new graduate now stands at the threshold of the next step in their call. Valedictorian, Ouida Russea-Pihulyk [DMin 2019], gave an inspired speech that included an encouraging poem for her fellow graduates. Ouida had previously completed her Master’s in Theological Studies at Tyndale prior to entering into the Doctor of Ministry in Spiritual Formation program track.

Retiring professors Dr. James Beverley (Professor of Christian Thought and Ethics) and Prof. Donald Goertz (Associate Professor of Church History), were honoured at this year’s convocation for their extensive years of service and commitment to Tyndale. “Each brought extraordinary accomplishments and contributions to the mission of God at Tyndale through their teaching, scholarship and distinguished and loyal service to students, the school, to church and society,” notes Dr. Janet Clark, Senior Vice President Academic and Dean of Tyndale Seminary. Dr. Beverly and Prof. Goertz each gave the convocation address.
