Biography

Herman is a registered psychotherapist and a registered marriage and family therapist. He is both a clinical fellow and an approved supervisor of American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy. Herman is also a Certified Therapist and Supervisor of Emotionally Focused Therapy. He has a vibrant private practice in Mississauga and Markham. Dr. Chow splits his time counselling clients, supervising therapists, and teaching at Tyndale University and University of Guelph (Open Learning and Educational Support). His past experience includes being a banker, pastor, and a Family Life Educator.

Dr. Chow is teaching a course on Emotionally Focused Therapy for Couples in Spring & Summer 2023.
