“The Glory of God is the human being fully alive.” St Irenaeus
My desire is that I, and those I companion, will experience being fully alive as they grow and deepen their personal connection with God, others and self. To this end I companion others as they explore their unique journey of discovering ‘Christ within, the hope of glory’ and open themselves to being transformed unto the mind and heart of Christ. Spiritual direction is a practice that supports persons to discover God in all things and discover the meaning and deeper purpose of all life experiences. With a background in health care I am passionate about healing. I believe we are all invited into a journey of wholeness – body, mind and spirit.
I have interest and training in Ignatian Spirituality, Enneagram of Transformation, Contemplative Spiritual Practices, and Mindful Self Compassion. I actively pursue my contemplative journey through my partnership in Soulstream’s dispersed contemplative community and a membership in Cascadia Wisdom Community.
I enjoy offering one-to-one companioning and group spiritual direction in the context of daily life, and/or more structured prayer companioning according to the Ignatian Spiritual Exercises. I teach spiritual direction and spiritual formation with the Canadian Jubilee Program.
My training includes: Spiritual Direction Certification -SoulStream in 2007; Ignatian Spiritual Direction - Loyola House, 2008; MA in Spiritual Formation - Carey Theology College, 2014; Certificate in Leading Contemplative Prayer Groups and Retreats - Shalem Institute, 2015: Supervision Training for Spiritual Directors– Mercy Center, Burlingame, CA, 2016; Mulitdimensional Enneagram, Shift Network, 2009; Enneagram in the Narrative Tradition, 2020.
