Our time with Ruth Haley Barton, from October 2-4, was rich with instruction, discussion and worship. Ruth spoke about many of the spiritual disciplines that undergird our relationships with God and lend stability to our ministry as spiritual directors. She also brought her personal experience as a directee and director to her time with us and was also able to address some of the issues that arise in giving spiritual direction to pastors and leaders.
We want to thank all those who organized and worked at the event and all the participants for coming as your presence made the retreat a time of renewing friendships and wonderful fellowship.
