Tyndale’s New International Development Program

This program is headed by Dr. Nathanael Ojong, Assistant Professor and Director of the International Development Program.

Dr. Ojong takes the lead alongside notable faculty who bring their academic expertise and extensive field experience from their work with a variety of key development organizations. Students will gain sound academic grounding in key aspects of the theories and concepts of development with a keen perspective on global economic, social and political issues. Students will be well equipped for career paths in the field of international development as well as graduate studies.

Previously, this degree was offered as a Business Administration - International Development major. The new direction continues along the forefront of the field of international development with the added freedom of choosing to minor in another area of interest. The program will still maintain a foundation in business, ensuring students are well equipped with the skills and knowledge to be competitive in the job market. The new program will also maintain the valuable hands-on experience beyond theoretical knowledge through applied courses and an internship abroad.
