Campus & Safety

Tyndale University is located on a beautiful 56-acre campus nestled between Bayview Avenue and the Don River. It is an oasis in the city, with hundreds of trees and large areas of green space, where deer and foxes can be seen in the early morning. It is centrally located in Toronto, close to restaurants, churches and other amenities.

The campus is located in one of the safest neighbourhoods in the city and is equipped with 24-hour security service. There are areas of the campus, such as the dorm room, that can only be accessed by those who have been authorized. For female students, there is a women-only gym located on the women’s dorm room floor.

“As a female Tyndale student, I have never felt unsafe on campus. Tyndale has a friendly security team, a secure building and a two-minute, well-lit walk to the bus stop. More than that, it is the community that makes me feel safe—I can trust that the students, professors and staff at Tyndale care for my personal wellbeing.” — Emily Crouse [BA English 2016]
