About Edmund Chan

Edmund worked as a lawyer for several years before sensing a call to help people in a more personal and tangible way. This led him to enroll in Tyndale’s MDiv in Clinical Counselling, where he is nearing the end of his studies. Edmund is gentle, kind, sensitive, insightful, and compassionate. He also loves to make others laugh and poke fun at himself. Edmund considers it the highest privilege to be invited to journey with his clients through their lives. His counselling interests include anxiety, depression, family of origin, life stage or transitions, grief and loss, relationships, trauma, shame, guilt, addictions, self-identity, spiritual issues, loneliness, self-care, boundaries, personal growth/development, and obsessive-compulsive behaviors. Edmund sees each person’s circumstances as unique, and he tailors his approach accordingly. In his free time, Edmund enjoys working out, dining at all-you-can-eat buffet restaurants, and spending time with his fiancée and loved ones (especially furry, four-legged ones).
