Human Resource Management

Surveys what human resource professionals and managers in general need to know about personnel and human resource management in business and nonprofit organizations. The need for strategic management of human resources within the context of the total organization is examined. Material includes staff selection and recruitment, performance evaluations, compensation, other reward systems, training and development, promotion of equal employment opportunity and the corresponding policies and practices. Prerequisites: BUSI 101, 201.
